T&N Adaptive® Foam
T&N Adaptive® Foam was created to combines the best of two materials: latex and memory foam.
Memory foam is famous for its pressure relief and comfort. It perfectly molds to your body. Cons? It can trap heat and be slow in response.
Latex on the other side is a bouncy material that helps you keep cool but it provides worse pressure relief.
T&N Adaptive® Foam combines the qualities of both materials. It conforms to your body and bounces quickly without leaving a trace.
Its open-cell structure allows air to move inside the mattress and distribute heat. When heat is distributed it’s easy for the mattress to cool down. For you, it means that you will sweat less and have a better sleep.
Cooling Gel & Graphite
Cooling Gel is a popular compound. It’s frequently used in the memory foam mattresses to reduce heat.
Graphite is another component used to transfer heat away from your body and provide you with a comfortable night’s sleep.
Mattress Structure
The mattress is 10″ thick. Heavy sleepers will feel more comfortable on a thicker mattress. But Tuft and Needle will do its job for people up to 500lbs each which makes 1000lbs in total for a mattress.

Tuft & Needle is a medium-firm mattress. Its firmness is 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. But it can feel a little bit firmer. Tuft & Needle mattress should be good for stomach and back sleepers.
People who like soft mattresses will probably not like Original Tuft and Needle mattress.
